The Agile Approach

The Brovanture implementation methodology is a proven process, based on an Agile or iterative approach which provides successful application installation tailored to fit your organisation's needs.

To begin the process, Brovanture assigns an experienced client consultant who will work with your organisation to fully define the scope and concept of your project with you. The client consultant will then assists and guide the implementation team throughout the process. We understand that an implementation project is an important priority, and this process makes for a smooth transition.

During each phase we explore and understand the business problems you're experiencing, then work with you to define a solution that completely fits your requirements. We are continually reviewing project progress with you to ensure we are executing to your satisfaction.

Understanding the Business Problem

Brovanture works with your organisation to fully understand your business needs and objectives by using high-level user surveys and other specific techniques. In this opening stage we identify and explore possible issues or concerns. We work with members of your IT staff and user groups to understand your environment, determine requirements, and rank needs. This process confirms the feasibility of the application and determines the time frame.

Solution Definition

Once Brovanture understands the scope of your project, we formulate a solution designed to meet those needs. In this stage we are able to explain how our software and services match your needs. We draft a solution definition document which details the preliminary design and scope of the project. These steps help Brovanture identify any issues between environment, business objectives and desired application functionality. After this is jointly reviewed and agreed, we move on to the next stage of implementation.

User Requirements

In this step of the process we fully define the functional specifications, the acceptance test criteria, and the end user requirements. We also work with your user group utilising detailed surveys to determine acceptance test criteria. At this point we update the project plan to reflect the additional user requirements for full functionality of the software. Planning is a dynamic and flexible process and we accept that requirements will change between inception and completion.

Technical Design

During this stage of the process we conduct a technical design review. We draft a technical design document, which details the development plan of action. Then we determine specific resource allocation for execution. Brovanture finalises the application design and compiles a comprehensive project plan. We employ techniques, such as design templates, story boards, data flow diagrams, task lists and project management software to produce the deliverables. The dynamic and changing nature of business needs to be reflected in the software, Brovanture will design planning to reflect this.

Agile development

As we develop the application, our Agile principles begin, emphasising how important it is to show progress and gain feedback in a continuously developing cycle. During the configuration, we instigate iterative prototypes of particular functional sections of the development, conducting limited tests of the software to gather input, allowing for a test and learn approach.

We re-evaluate the user requirements and make adjustments as necessary. Our development process helps drive a better end product through flexibility and collaboration reflecting user feedback and interaction

Acceptance Testing

Now that the application is nearing production, Brovanture begins a limited roll-out to gauge users' acceptance of the initial implementation.

We run a series of tests using specific criteria to find and resolve any issues that may have arisen – before they impact any delivery. Before moving forward we will seek your acceptance of the preliminary application and provide the detailed results of the acceptance testing phase for your review.
